Aaron began his career at the age of seventeen, shooting backstage at New York Fashion Week for YM, Cosmopolitan, and the LA Times. He studied photography at RIT and theater at Ithaca College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama. After college, Aaron worked as a darkroom printer for the late Arnold Newman.
Over the past ten years, Aaron has made a name for himself in production still photography, creating press images, one-sheets, and book covers for film and theatrical productions that have been seen around the world.
Aaron’s clients range from IFC, WIGS, and Anthony Zuiker Presents in Los Angeles, to theaters like Playwrights Horizons, Dodger Theatricals, and Tectonic Theater Project in New York. He has also worked with corporations such as AT&T, Samsung, MTV, and New York Public Radio. Aaron's editorial work has been featured in The New York Times, The LA Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Village Voice, New York Magazine, Time Out, Cosmopolitan, Digital Photo Pro, and American Theater Magazine. As a Moab Master Photographer, Aaron travels the country teaching digital printing techniques.
Most recently, Aaron shot the stills for Jeff Garlin's DEALIN’ WITH IDIOTS, and spent the last five months on John Avnet and Rodrigo Garcia’s WIGS channel, where he shot the stills for Season 2 of “Blue,” “Paloma,” and “Lauren.”
Aaron lives in Los Angeles with his family.
